The 4th EUSAIR Forum and 2nd Annual Conference of the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce, Cities and Universities were held from 6-8 of May in Budva, Montenegro.
This year, alongside with the 4th EUSAIR Annual Forum was organized the ADRION Annual Event. This event took place on 6 May 2019 in Budva, Montenegro, bringing together relevant stakeholders form the Adriatic-Ionian Region and beyond, and informing the participants with the Programme updates, its future perspectives as well as with main goals and results of the ADRION funded projects.

HarmoNIA was represented by the partner from Montenegro, the Institute of Marine Biology of the University of Montenegro, Univerzitet Crne Gore and by the associated partner from the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro Ms Ivana Stojanovic ( the advisor in the Directorate for Climate Change and Mediterranean affairs).

The EUSAIR Forum was officially opened on 7th of May by the Montenegrin Prime Minister, Duško Marković. The opening was followed by the welcome speech of the H.E Ambassador Aivo Orav, Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro. The two interesting and highly visited panel discussions preceded the official part of the event: panel on Environmental Quality, EUSAIR Pillar III titled as Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) as a cross-cutting theme of the TSGs of the EUSAIR, focused on conceptual and practical aspects of Marine Spatial Planning and Business to Business panel session, aimed to facilitate meetings and exchange between SMEs, universities, chambers of commerce, clusters and other stakeholders in the AI Region with the objective to find partners for new projects and explore new business opportunities.
The very intense 4th EUSAIR event consisted of four plenary sessions encompassing all four EUSAIR thematic priorities/pillars, among others have highlighted the need for the environmental protection as a priority but also the opportunity for blue and green growth as well as smart specialization, which brings economic opportunities.
The 4th EUSAIR Forum together with the side events hosted over 550 guests and more than 50 speakers.
