The event “Presentation of the project for stakeholders in Montenegro” organized within the Final conference of the Interreg ADRION “PORTODIMARE” project, was held on December the 10th 2020 in Montenegro. Danijela Joksimovic, representative of HarmoNIA project partner the University of Montenegro- Institute of Marine Biology, shared HarmoNIA experiences, project outcomes and results at this event.
The event was organized online and was dedicated to the presentation of the Interreg ADRION project “PORTODIMARE”. Welcoming speeches were given by the representatives of the Public Company for Marine Asset Management of Montenegro as well as the Office for European Integration, Government of Montenegro.
The results of several projects related to Spatial Planning of the Sea (current situation and next steps), to GEF ADRIATIC, to management of protected areas through integrated protection of marine and coastal ecosystems in Montenegro, as well as to harmonization of approaches in monitoring and risk assessment of contaminants were presented at the event. All these results will be integrated into PORTODIMARE Geoportal in the coming period.
